Yesterday my reusable coffee cup came, and I couldn’t be happier with it – stylish, well packed, great design and (most importantly!) it’s a step in the right direction for my intention to become more environmentally aware.

I know there’s been so much in the media lately about climate change and our impact on the environment, and it’s easy to feel disheartened and overwhelmed. I’m trying to remain positive, and hold onto the thought that small actions can lead to big changes.

At home and at work I’m very much a china mug user – nothing beats a good coffee or tea in a favourite china mug! However, I’m often drinking on the move, and single use paper cups (however trendy or seasonal the design) always felt wasteful! Now I’ve discovered Ecoffee cups I’m in drink heaven! They are super stylish, light, contemporary and don’t leave any awful after taste. Most importantly, they are made with natural fibre, corn starch and resin which is BPA, BPS and phthalate free.

Reusable coffee cups

The lid and sleeve are made with matte, food-grade silicone which is latex-free and designed especially for hot liquids. It has a re-sealable ‘no-drip’ lid and the whole product (cup, lid and sleeve) is dishwasher safe and should last for years!

How positive is that! Especially when you know that single use paper cups have an average lifespan of less than 10 minutes – and (due to their plastic content) less than 1% will be recycled.

I’m going to be putting these on my lists for cool Christmas presents (don’t tell anyone!), and encouraging everyone to make a change!

I choose to reuse, do you?
